Big Brothers Big Sisters of Butler County is one of many Cincinnati Tri-State Area community organizations that Tri-State Wrestling is proud to partner with. We love receiving feedback from their Bigs and Littles matches. Recently, Big Sister Mary had the chance to attend with her Littles, and provided the following quote: "We had an amazing night. They even said happy birthday to Kingston. We plan to attend again! The boys had the best night!" We can't wait to see our Bigs and Littles Matches back in July!

Tri-State Wrestling at The Hall 2024 Season Debut February 17, 2024 The Hall at Knights of Columbus Batesville, Indiana Match 1: Justin “Pac Man” Xavier defeated “The Closer” Jarett Diaz via pinfall These two young stars had an action-packed back-and-forth match, with Xavier emerging with the win thanks to a springboard cutter. Match 2: “The Academic Standard” GPA defeated Brayden Lee via pinfall This match proved to be a great technical battle, with Lee’s amateur wrestling background and GPA’s grappling experience. GPA worked on Lee’s arm throughout the match, but the native Hoosier kept battling back. Unfortunately for him, all the work GPA did on Brayden’s left arm prevented a couple of high impact moves and The Academic Standard was able to sneak away with a win thanks to a cradle for a pin. Match 3: “The Good Witch” Kaia McKenna defeated “The Big Flexer” Alexis Littlefoot via pinfall Littlefoot was looking to make a big splash in her TSW debut and shined early with some hard-hitting moves while boasting to the Batesville crowd. But McKenna was able to summon the strength to make a comeback and move to 3-0 in her TSW career after hitting her signature Black Cauldron Bomb. Match 4: “The Young GOAT” Myron Reed defeated JDX via pinfall The match between these two rivals had been brewing since last August when JDX first debuted in TSW at the Raider Rumble and went straight for Reed, with the two eliminating themselves from the Rumble and continuing their fight backstage. JDX stalled briefly at first before the action became hot and heavy. Each man landed plenty of high impact moves and scored several near pinfalls. JDX attempted to use powder to blind Myron when the ref was distracted, but Reed saw it coming and hit his Flame On cutter followed by a Captain Crunch driver for the win. After the match, Tri-State Wrestling Heavyweight Champion Tre’ Lamar emerged from the back to stare down Reed, taunting his former friend with the title. With Reed distracted, JDX attacked from behind, giving him and Lamar the opportunity to double team Reed. The two set up a chair around Reed’s neck in an attempt to cause some serious injury, but fortunately Matt Diesel emerged from the back with a chair of his own to chase the duo away. Match 5: Damian Chambers defeated Tyler Lee Deputy via pinfall Chambers didn’t wait for the match to officially start, jumping the Deputy from behind before the bell to gain an early advantage. Tyler fought hard to try and get back on top, but Chambers was too much and continued his strong run in TSW by finishing the Deputy with his Darkness Falls slam. Match 6: The Hype (Hunter Holdcraft & 12 Gaige) defeated The Tragedy Bois (Gaston LaRue & Percy Drews) via pinfall The Tragedy Bois had the third member of their group, Saturn Price, at ringside, getting involved in some instances to help them try and gain an advantage. But The Hype worked smooth together in their first outing in TSW as a tag team, winning this exciting tag match with a pair of double team moves to the cheers of the crowd. Match 7: Tre’ Lamar defeated “No Limit” Matt Diesel via pinfall to retain the TSW Heavyweight Championship Diesel came into this match on a roll and had the added incentive of looking to get revenge against Lamar for what he did to Matt’s mentor, Myron Reed. The young star went after the TSW champ hard, with Lamar barely surviving the early onslaught. Lamar’s experience and talent took over, controlling a good portion of the match, with Diesel continuing to fight back and refusing to go down. Frustrated, Lamar tried to use a chair on Diesel, but the referee – Batesville’s own Luck E. Haskins – stopped him. As Haskins went to put the chair back, Lamar tried to use his title on Diesel, but the young challenger instead hit Tre with a DDT on the belt. However, instead of trying a pin right away, Diesel went to try and finish it off with a move from the top, but was stopped by JDX, who suddenly appeared from the back. As the referee tried to get JDX to leave, Lamar used the title to smash Diesel in the face before hitting his Dream Chaser brainbuster for the win to retain the title. Following the match, Lamar and JDX showed there was no question they were working together, as the pair once again joined forces to double team Diesel in the ring. This time it was Reed coming out to save Diesel, despite his own injuries from the early beatdown. Reed took down both Lamar and JDX, sending a message that he’s not finished with either of them yet.
